WiMAX Licences To Be Cancelled
The Montenegrin regulator, Agentel, has threatened to cancel the WiMAX licences of three operators for failure to launch commercial services. Promonte, Broadband Montenegro and Crnogorski Telekom are under fire for not having launched services. A fourth operator awarded a WiMAX licence, M-Tel, launched WiMAX services in October 2007. The process to cancel the WiMAX licences will begin in mid-December according to the regulator's report.
